LAFAYETTE, GA
RENAISSANCE STRATEGIC
VISION & PLAN | 2021
RSVP
The City of LaFayette and the LaFayette Downtown Development Authority are participating in the Renaissance Strategic Visioning and Planning process (RSVP). The RSVP is a 12-month, downtown, master planning process provided by the University of Georgia’s Institute of Government. The RSVP process is funded through generous support from the Lyndhurst Foundation. Also, the Georgia Municipal Association and the Georgia Cities Foundation (two additional state organizations) are supporting LaFayette’s Downtown RSVP.
The RSVP results in a downtown master planning document that illustrates the community’s vision for the future and provides the strategic steps to get there. Led by a local Steering Committee and driven by community input, the RSVP helps local governments and community partners prioritize their top issues and works to establish a consensus around what must be achieved, including short and long-term goals.

"In the midst of a challenging year, it has been a ray of sunshine to work on this project. This design plan will literally change the makeup of our community"
